Collective shuttles
This is the most common and safest way to travel between (tourist) destinations of
Guatemala. Collective shuttles are (as the name suggest) shuttles you share
with other travelers. They are almost always minibusses with about 15 seats.
To travel in a collective shuttle you have to make a reservation in advance, and
the shuttle picks you up at the hostel. You can buy tickets at the hostel.
At the reception of the hostel there is a list with up to date destinations, departure times
and prices. We only sell tickets from Antigua (and in some cases
return tickets). We can not arrange collective tickets to Antigua (please check
private shuttles if you want us to arrange transport to the hostel).
The main destinations from Antigua are: Airport, Busstations in Guate, Panajachel,
San Pedro, San Marcos, Coban, Copan (Honduras), Lanquin, Semuc Champey.
We also sell tickets to Rio Dulce and Flores, but these are a combination of shuttle
and pullmanbus with a change in Guatemala City.

Tour Pacaya
A visit to Guatemala is not complete without climbing Pacaya.
Its a moderate (about 2) hour hike with beautiful views.
You can buy tickets for this collective tour at the hostel. Tickets cost
55 Quetzales and do not include the entrance fee of 50 Quetzales.
Departure times are everyday at 6AM and 2PM. The tour takes about
6 hours in total and includes the return transportion and (spanish speaking)
guide.
